The band features the mighty Hammond B-3 organ playing of Louis Pain as well as the precision guitar playing of Max Rees. Handling the bass is Leah Hinchcliff, while Edwin Coleman III keeps time on drums. Jeannine Wiggins and Mark Wyatt share the vocal duties. And Lewis Livermore and Dave Mills carry the backbone sound of the Soul Vax horns on trumpets with Mary Sue Tobin and Gary Harris on saxophones.

Get ready - on any night, the 10-piece Portland Band, Soul Vaccination infuses the Stage with a generous serving of gourmet ear candy. This stuff is not just soul - it's soul with urban sophistication and power of a group of players with a wide range of professional credits in rhythm and blues, jazz, film, television, theater, classical music and gospel.
The line up includes members who've played with such luminaries as the Temptations, Curtis Salgado, Linda Hornbuckle Band, the Oregon Symphony, Duffy Bishop and Nu Shooz among many others.
For the past 10 years Soul Vaccination has appeared as a main stage act throughout the northwest.
Recent appearances include:
The 2007 Washington Park Summer Festival, Smokin' at the Ocean 2007 at Chinook Winds Casino, Special Olympics Oregon Summer Games Closing Ceremonies 2007, Good In The Hood 2007, Jimmy Mak's 2007.
In 2006 Soul Vaccination sold out New Years Eve at Chinook Winds Casino , played the Museum After Hours Concert Series, the Portland Bite Festival, and has graced the stages of many other regional venues. But, for fun and profit the band continues to also play regular weekly shows at the hottest nightclubs in the Portland metro area.
